Intel has announced on its Discord channel that it has developed the Arc graphics card family for desktops. Intel also confirms the details about these cards. While Arc A770 has 16GB GDDR6, the A750 model has 8GB GDDDR6 memory. The brand will launch them soon.
Intel launches full Arc desktop graphics cards soon
Intel is about to finish all the tests on Arc 7 series graphics cards. Additionally, Arc A770 16GB gets rewarded as the “Premium” prize, and the Arc A750 8GB takes the “Performance” prize by Xe-HPG Scavenger Hunt. The company also gives some details about these cards. Intel Arc A770 specifications
The Intel Arc 7 series will come with the flagship ACM-G10 GPU and it will be one of the most powerful desktop GPUs with 32 Xe-Cores for 4096 ALUs, and 32 ray tracing units. It also will have 16GB GDDR6 memory and run at a peak boost of 2.4 GHz which is always higher than the engine clock speed.
The graphics card will be able to deliver about 20 TFLOPs of FP32 horsepower. Besides, Intel Arc A770 comes with a TGP of about 225W. It is expected that it will be placed between the RTX 3060 TI and RTX 3070 according to the data.
Intel Arc A750 specifications
This graphics card will come with ACM-G10 GPU with 448 EUs, 3584 ALUs, and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It will be one of the highest-performance cards. It is able to run across a 256-bit bus at 16 Gbps, and a TGP of about 200W. According to the tests, Arc A750 is up to 17% faster than the Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card.
According to the rumors, Intel Arc graphics cards will cost below 400 dollars. While the Arc A750 is expected to cost around $300-350, the Arc A770 will cost around $400. These cards will support the newest technology and ports that are DisplayPort 2.0 and HDMI 2.1 interfaces.
